As an advanced project, Smart fitness introduces new experiences & service base on smart tv and products(dumbbell, yoga matt built-in in-body, cycle). It was planed to extend business by combining technologies, products and service.

Project Goal

Our primary goal was to transform the Smart TV experience. Rather than just selling devices, we set out to create a more diverse ecosystem. The focus was on offering users a new, engaging experience through Smart TVs, going beyond traditional viewing and turning it into an active and enriching part of their lives. This approach would not only diversify LG's business but also make Smart TVs more appealing.

Ideas

We envisioned Smart TVs as more than just screens, aiming to provide users with a transformative experience right at home. The core idea was to seamlessly integrate fitness and health into the television experience. This approach aimed to enrich lives, diversify LG’s business, and increase the appeal of Smart TVs by introducing exercise-related content and accessories, making them a gateway to a holistic and health-conscious lifestyle.

Beyond basic diet, fitness experiences, smart fitness empowers users to rediscover healthy fitness habits. Small but meaningful changes will help you enjoy a healthier life.

Enhancing Fitness Experience

Elevate user's fitness journey by discovering exercises, setting the mood with LG headphones and rewarding upon reaching specific exercise milestones. Monitor your health through data tracking, including sleep duration and step.

LG's Smart TV Expansion

We expand LG's product lineup to include devices compatible with Smart TVs, such as muscle strengthening equipment, indoor bicycles, and smart bands.

Comprehensive Health Ecosystem

Offer a complete suite of content, services and products to meet user's health and fitness needs at home. These new devices can seamlessly connect to LG's app and technologies like cameras, sensors, and IoT platforms to track user's movements.

The Result

We developed a cutting-edge interface design for smart fitness applications and content, featuring power dumbbells, relaxation yoga, body tracking homepage, cheerleading games, and vertical cycling through innovative products. This was crafted as a demo version, presenting a novel smart TV experience to executives and relevant stakeholders, paving the way for the actual service realization.

Utilizing advanced pose detection through the camera, we precisely monitor key body positions during every exercise. On the app, an interactive pose guide provides instant feedback on form and progress, ensuring efficient fitness optimization

Cycling Over The World

Take a cycling journey on any road worldwide, all from the comfort of the user's own home. Experience the thrill of pedaling through stunning landscapes using Google Street View. Enjoy the full benefits of a gym without ever leaving the user's home gym sanctuary
